What?
Lisa and I created an awesome site for our school to that learning coaches can use when designing their Maths problem solving lessons.
So what?
- On our home page we included some images and links about the Maths hub, the different strands in Maths and building a mathematical mindset community.
- Our level 1 page is made of number, fractions & strand problems
- Our level 2 page is made up of number, fractions , multiplication/ division & strand problems
- Our level 3 page is made up of number, fractions , multiplication/ division & strand problems
- We are still working on putting more problems on the level 4 page
- We also created a teacher resources page which includes articles to read, problem solving sites, problem solving books & printable resources
Now what?
- LC’s to explore this resource
- What can we do to make it better?
- LC’s to share their problems/ Add to database
You and Lisa have done an awesome job on this site. I really like the rich tasks and the range of open ended questions that you have put there. I think this will help learning coaches to utilise problem solving in habitat.
